Late Night Thoughts
I think "I miss you" is overrated. What is it about people that we can really miss? They're constantly changing. Their past self is different from their current self. So, assuming we miss the other person when there is no contact, we must miss their past self. Because who knows if their present self is the same or completely different. There's a few people in my life in which I have no idea. Even if I wanted to answer, i would not be able to tell you what they were up to. I find this actually shocking...I mean, I'm in a time period where everything is so easily accessible online, "stalking" is facilitated, but I have no contact with these people and would not know how to even "know what theyre doing". Isn't that sad? Is it not so much of a wakeup call that there will be people in your life like this. I guess being anti social media has its disadvantages.
