You seem like the type to love 'em and leave 'em

Have you guys heard this song? You guys should listen to it. It's very catchy. Of course I'm talking about Eenie Meanie by Sean Kingston and Justin Bieber. It's funny cos in the song they are talking about girls who are...let's just say 'friendly' and jump from one guy to the next because they can't decide. I just have one question, what were they smoking when they wrote this song? I do like the song and the beat and hook and whatnots. But REALLY? Girls are the 'eenie meanie miney mo' lovers?! REALLY? Since when do you hear about a girl who can't decide on a guy. Oh wait, this song only applies to "those kind of girls". OBV. How else would it make sense? As we all know, girls adore the commitment, fidelity, morals, long term-ness, need I say more? I guess there are definitely girls who hide behind their insecurities and have casual meaningless sex. But unfortunately girls, you will get attached. I'm sorry, it's just the way you are. We can't change it. Those who 'can' are just resisting longer, but at the end they look down and notice "oh HEY I have boobs...so I guess I can't act like a guy, no matter how much I try" So basically, I think that this song should be directed toward the testosterone-filled, broad shouldered, right hand using sex they call men. Because, we all know which sex can't decide on who to be with. Really.

Thank you for the lesson

  A long time ago I came across some words of wisdom which explained the importance of forgiveness. At that stage in my life, I was completely anti forgiveness. I still understand why, and though I’d like to say my views on said topic have changed, I’d be slightly lying. I’m very good at blocking things out of my life, that’s how I cope. But every once in a blue moon, you get an unnecessary, by chance reminder. And it kinda takes you to mental head space you had kept far away. A few (many) words that I want to say to my past self; “You knew better. How could you allow it time after time? You wasted your time investing energy and effort into a dead end.
