And the clouds above move closer

"Looking so dissatisfied. And the ground below grew colder, as they put you down inside. But the heartless wind kept blowing, blowing." Damn, I completely forgot how good Linkin Park was. I remember in grade 10, I was completely obsessed with them almost as much as i was obsessed with food. I listened to every single one of their songs on their albums. The best thing is I have a certain memory associated with most of their songs. So here imma list some of my favourite songs by them and memories that are bound to them.

1. Crawling Reanimation ft. Staind: Making the best amv I've ever made in the history of amv's. It was inspired by the emotional breakdown Light had in the anime death note. I made it after i had finally finished the  series. After a few days of it being posted on you-tube, (and getting awesome feedback) it was taken down because of some lame-ass copyright issues...well, i guess they weren't so lame.

2. In Pieces: I remember talking to my ex-significant other on the phone for hours and hours. This was obviously in the honey-moon phase of the relationship. Anyways, so he played the bass and was also quite fond of linkin park, so when we would talk on the phone he'd have this song playing in the background. And he would sing it to me. Granted his voice wasn't all that good. But it was cute at the time.

3. In the End: My cousin and I made a bunch of videos to us just goofing around with songs, kind of like a karaoke type of thing. The funny thing was, I should've been studying for the my french exam (3 days away) which is why both of us were hanging out in the first place. So this song came up and you know how near the end of the song, Chester has this verse where he sings? When that part came, i automatically went from my normal voice, to an extremely high one. It was the funniest thing evar.

4. Faint: This is the song that got me interested in making amv's in the first place. My friend also made amv's but he made them to the anime called gungrave. He sent me his amv and asked what i thought about it. The song was faint, and i thought he did a really good job but i definetely wanted to make one that was better because i'm competitive like that. When i finished my first amv, i sent it to him first and he gave me 5 stars! So thanks to my friend who gave me an awesome new hobby =)

5. Valentine's Day: There's no question as to why this song is on this list. I wanted to listen to it because it was talking about my day of birth and I thought it would be romantic. But that was a momentary lapse of judgment and the song turned out to be even better! It was then my official "looking out the window while it's raining on the bus" song.

6. No More Sorrow: I remember when i got my first phone, which was a motorola krazr, i was so excited because it felt as if i was independent with my own phone and job. I know. but it get's better. So on the krazr you can change your ringtone to whatever song you want because transferring files on it is really easy. So i set my ringtone to some song i dont remember now. But i set this song as my ring tone whenever i would get a text msg. I remember napping and then as soon as i got a text this song was playing, mayne was it a long reminder that i had a text, seeing as the whole song played, cuz i was stupid enough not to clip it =P

7. From the inside: I listened to this song incessantly when my friend was going through a rough time in her high-school life. Some drama had happened and she was extremely sad. I remember coming on msn to see a line quoted from this song in her name. I felt awful for her and I wanted her to feel better even though i could never truly know exactly what she was feeling. But i gave her advice when it was needed and then after making a few important decisions in her life, she was back to the smiling, happy girl that i loved.
